“we create our own luck.”

Since Bernadette can remember her favourite daydreams were of adventurous travels all over the world and thanks to her lucky stars, her dreams have and are still coming true.

Horseback riding in Mongolia, Dog Sleighing across the frozen glaciers of the Arctic, Sailing the last frontier of the uncharted fjords of East Greenland.  Crossing the Drake Passage to visit the penguins and ice climbing in the beautiful Antarctica, Trekking the Annapurna Circuit, Sailing and Diving the Whitsundays, Caymans, Seychelles, Jamaica, Sri Lanka, Jizan at the Red Sea, Great Barrier Reef, New Zealand waters, Helicoptering over the Grand Canyon and Maui, Meditating in Peru, Practising Kung Fu at the Shaolin Temple and Detoxing in Thailand!  The list goes on and on...

A question asked –  if you could have one great wish – what would that wish be?

Bernadette’s reply was to wish that every child born on planet earth was treated with the greatest of love, respect, dignity and care.  By doing this, planet earth would immediately become the beautiful planet it was destined to be.

A close friend asked her once what did she want most in life – her answer was ‘to be happy’ ‘happiness means having good health and fulfilling one’s life’s dreams and wishes.  Happiness means having caring and honest relationships with family and friends.  Some people believe money makes them happy, but money is one of those things that can so easily come and go – living a good life and using the money to gratefully enjoy one’s life – is a good choice.
